¡Hola!
Me llamo Eliot y tengo predilección por los autos antiguos, sobre todo los europeos. Después de enamorarme de una uruguaya, decidí mudarme a Montevideo. Y me he traído conmigo mi pasión por coleccionar autos exóticos europeos.
Así que, ven a ver mi stock. Es bastante limitado y muy especializado. Compra uno de mis autos y te aseguro que también serás único en Sudamérica.
1965 911 2.0 SWB
This intriguing 911 must be the pride of our workshop. Never before have we seen one quite so original. It’s a true early 65. Never raced, crashed, modified or restored. It really was a lucky find.
It was delivered new to it’s New Mexico owner in July 1965 through VW Pacific in Culver City, CA. It’d been laid up since the 90s when we found it yet it was in remarkable original condition.
After an initial inspection it was time to pull the engine. We knew that the engine wasn’t toast, it turned easily enough on the pulley, but we didn’t know much more than that.
Tearing down the top end we were happy with what we’d seen. The heads were in excellent condition, with no traces of cracking or burnt valves and the pistons and barrels were relatively healthy too, aside from some minor corrosion. As we progressed deeper and separated the case halves we could see that the engine really was in good condition. The block was sent to Ollie’s machine shop in AZ who modified the oil by-pass, polished the crank, refaced the flywheel and then dynamically balanced the lot along with the clutch housing and pulley.
Considering the corrosion that was present on the cylinder walls it was decided to send them back to Ollie’s to have them honed to accept 0.5mm oversized pistons.
